One of the main initial goals of this group is to capture some basic history of: what does it mean to be a “Bear”. We are organizing some interviews, to be presented as Podcasts.

- Preamble: When you set up the interview, ask the interviewee to bring any scrapbooks, photos, news clippings, awards, etc. that they may wish to share.

- Tell me about your coming out. (If you identify as gay/bi/queer)
- Did/Do you identify with any gay subcultures or subgroups?

- How/Do you identify as a bear?
- Bear Community:
- What are your memories of finding out about the bear community?
- What did you witness?
- How did you participate?
- Bear Groups/Clubs: Did you find your way to any organized bear groups How/Did you participate?
